Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Princeton Medical Systems website (princetonmedicalsystems.com) and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Description of Services

Princeton Medical Systems stewards VIDS, the Verified Imaging Dataset Standard, and provides research, education, and technical and professional services related to medical imaging data, dataset documentation, standards adoption, data quality, conformance preparation, evidence generation and related infrastructure.

Paid Courses

This section applies to paid training programs offered by Princeton Medical Systems (“PMS”), including the Medical Imaging AI Bootcamp (each a “Course”). When you register for a Course, these Terms apply together with the Course’s program page, our Cancellation & Refund Policy, our Service Delivery Policy and our Privacy Policy. If these Terms conflict with the Cancellation & Refund Policy on cancellations or refunds, the Cancellation & Refund Policy applies.

Registration and eligibility

• You must be 18 years of age or older to register for a Course.
• You must provide accurate registration details. A registration is personal to the registered participant.
• Seats are limited. Your place is confirmed only when your payment has been successfully verified by PMS. If a Course is full, you may join a waitlist; no payment is taken for the waitlist.
• If a payment is received after a Course has become full, or the same registration is paid more than once, PMS will refund the unallocated or duplicate payment in full, without deducting payment-processing charges, under the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Fees and payment

• The Course fee is the amount shown on the program page at the time of registration and is inclusive of GST. A GST invoice is available on request.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. If a payment fails or is not completed, your registration is not confirmed.
• Promotional codes apply only on the terms shown when they are offered, may be limited in number, and have no cash value. Only one code can be applied to a registration.

Cancellations, refunds and schedule changes

Cancellations and refunds, including what happens if PMS cancels or reschedules a Course, are governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy in effect on the date of your enrolment.

The program page names the planned instructors. PMS may make reasonable changes to Course content, sequence or instructors, including substituting an instructor of equivalent expertise, and will tell enrolled participants about any change of instructor. If a change materially reduces the Course as advertised, PMS will give notice, and you may withdraw with a full refund before the Course starts, or receive a refund for undelivered sessions after it starts, as set out in the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Participation

• You are responsible for your own equipment, internet connection and any third-party accounts the Course requires, as listed on the program page.
• Joining links and access details are for your use only. Please do not share them.
• You agree to participate respectfully. If your conduct is unlawful, abusive or disruptive, PMS will, where practical, warn you and give you an opportunity to respond before removing you from the Course. PMS may remove a participant immediately for serious misconduct. If PMS removes you, we will explain the reason and refund the fee actually paid, divided by the advertised number of live sessions, multiplied by the sessions not yet delivered, as set out in the Cancellation & Refund Policy and subject to applicable law.
• Please do not record, copy or redistribute live sessions without PMS’s written permission.

Course materials and your work

• Course materials, including notebooks, slides and guides, are provided for your personal learning and may not be redistributed or used to deliver training to others without PMS’s written permission.
• Public datasets used in a Course remain subject to their own licences and terms of use, which you agree to follow.
• These restrictions apply to PMS proprietary materials. Materials released under an open-source, Creative Commons or other separate licence remain governed by that licence.
• You keep ownership of the project work you create during a Course. You permit PMS to access and use submitted work only to administer the Course, assess completion and issue certificates. Retention is explained in the applicable privacy notice. PMS will not publish your work without your separate consent.

Certificates

• Certificates are issued according to the completion criteria on the program page and in the Service Delivery Policy.
• A certificate confirms participation in, or completion of, a PMS Course. It is not a professional licence, a degree, or a regulatory or clinical qualification.
• On request, PMS may confirm whether a certificate is genuine to you or to an employer or institution you refer to us.

Educational purpose

Courses are educational. Course content, models, code and outputs are for learning purposes and must not be used for clinical diagnosis, treatment decisions or patient care.

Liability for paid courses

To the extent permitted by law, PMS’s total liability to you in connection with a Course is limited to the fee you paid for that Course.

Intellectual Property

Except where otherwise identified, all content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, icons, data compilations and software, is the property of Princeton Medical Systems or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The VIDS specification is published under CC BY 4.0, and the reference validator is licensed under Apache 2.0. Third-party materials retain their applicable licenses.

User Responsibilities

You agree to use our services and materials only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials, respecting applicable licenses, not attempting to reverse-engineer or redistribute proprietary materials, and providing accurate information when contacting us or submitting applications.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services and materials are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that any service, output, standard, validator, documentation or other material will meet your specific requirements or be suitable for clinical diagnostic use.

For paid Courses, these disclaimers do not exclude PMS’s express commitments in the applicable Course description, Service Delivery Policy or Cancellation & Refund Policy, or any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Princeton Medical Systems shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

Indemnification

This section does not apply to participants in paid Courses in their capacity as participants. Subject to applicable law, other users agree to indemnify Princeton Medical Systems, its officers, directors, employees and agents against third-party claims caused by the user’s unlawful conduct or by the user’s infringement of another person’s rights.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Terms, including the Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability and Indemnification sections, excludes or limits any right or liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your rights under consumer protection law.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised date. Changes apply prospectively. An existing Course enrolment remains governed by the Terms and Course policies accepted at registration, except for changes required by law or otherwise agreed with the participant.
